Swing Shift
Before I pass out from this May heat wave that's hit the East Coast, I thought I'd share some captures from another movie I've recently found and loved. I hope you don't mind how often I bombard you with these! It's about women who went to work during WWII, and it's full of just enough kissing and dancing that it leaves you feeling pretty darn good.

I adore this film! I've watched it like 10 times too because I can watch it on my Roku :o)
ReplyDeleteI want to see this film so much!!
ReplyDeleteFrom Carys of La Ville Inconnue
It has been years since I last saw this and now I SO want to see it again.
ReplyDeleteI always find these movies super inspiring, and it is especially helpful during these heat waves (Wisconsin is having one too) to think about the women of past generations. Oh! The cooking and cleaning and lack of air conditioning. Inspiring, indeed.
I like your movie posts. They help me to look at films that I've seen in a new light and also makes me want to see ones that I haven't yet viewed.
I REMEMBER THIS! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI think I've seen this - but should probably see it again :)
ReplyDeleteThat movie depressed me a lot. Otherwise I loved the outfits in it!!
ReplyDeleteI actually enjoyed that movie :) The outfits are so great! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that movie but judging by your screen captures it looks good :)
